The <br />Woodward-Clyde designed project commenced construction in November 1996 by Tezak Heavy <br />Equipment Company of Canon City. The project included the stabilization of the upstream dam <br />face and the replacement of the outlet structure. This work consisted of the construction of a new <br />concrete intake structure, a new gate control house and an extension of the 36 inch diameter steel <br />outlet pipe. Additionally, the outlet pipe required lining due to extensive corrosion which was <br />encountered during construction.
