The funding request is for $86,040.04 <br />pp Y <br />from Basin Account Funds and $86,000.00 from Statewide Account Funds for a total request of <br />$182 000.00 in WSRA fundin . This ro' ect was approved by a ma j ority vote of the voting <br />g pJ <br />members resent at the North Platte Basin Roundtable meeting held on the 17th day of June, 2008. <br />P <br />Seven votin members of the North Platte Basin Roundtable voted to approve the project and the <br />g . <br />re uested WSRA funding and two voting members voted to not approve the prod ect and the funding <br />q ,. . <br />re uested. Richard F. Wyatt, Municipal Representative, and Mike Allnutt, Agricultural <br />q <br />Re resentative, voted to not approve the project and the requested funding. Mr. Wyatt stated that he <br />p <br />would not vote to approve funding for the project because he felt the project could negatively impact <br />rivate roperty rights because the data and information collected might possibly be used to create <br />P p . <br />roblems for rivate landowners and to usurp their property rights. Mr.'?yatt also stated that he did <br />p P <br />not feel CNHP had ode uatel identified and quantified the wetlands that were to be evaluated. Mr. <br />q Y . <br />Allnutt stated that he would not vote to approve funding for the prod ect because he felt that the <br />amount of fundin bein re uested was excessive and that he did not feel that the benefits that may <br />g g q <br />be realized from the project justified the amount of funds that would be expended to conduct the <br />study and field investigations. <br />In addition, it Was the understanding of the voting members of the North Platte Basin Roundtable <br />that the applicant would further reduce the amount of funding being requested from Basin Account <br />funds in the e uivalent amount of funding that the applicant nay receive as additional commitments <br />q . <br />from artners ar other entities in an amount of$10,000 or more prior to consideration of this project <br />p <br />b the CWCB in Se tember, 2008. For example, ?f the applicants received an add?t?onal <br />?' ? p. <br />commitment for $10,504 to matching funds prior to consideration of this prod ect by the CWCB, the
