June 12, 2008
Colorado water Conservation Board
1313 Sherman St. Room 721
Denver, CD 50203
Todd Doherty
Intrastate water Management and Development
1550 Logan Street, Suite 600
Denver, CC 80203
Re: Demonstration of Membrane Zero Liquid Discharge Process for Drug water
Systems
Dear Mr. Doherty,
Cn behalf of the Metro Basin Roundtable, I write to let you know of our full support of
the "Demonstration of Membrane Zero Liquid Discharge Process for Drinking water
Systems" proposal and request that $50,000 of the Metro Roundtable's balance be given
to the applicant the Colorado Department of Health & Environment water Quality
Control Division}.
All seventeen of the voting members -more than enough for aquorum - in attendance
were unanimous in their support.
As is our practice, all materials are provided to each of the members voting and non-
voting? prior to the meeting; the applicant is allowed to present for a period of time; all
members are encouraged to engage in discussion and Q&A _ as is the public; a motion of
support or denial is called for with a second; further discussion takes place if any. Of
note: this was Dave Akers second time before the roundtable discussing this project.
we encourage the CWCB to fully fund this critical prof ect as it will impact every basin in
the State.
Sincerely,
?? ._.
?.
_? ._
Doug S toff
Chairman
Metro Basin Roundtable
