The economic value of
the many forms of recreation provided by our 1rildlife heritage are provided in
Attachment H.
s. The deterioration of reser mirs
and spillirays, imposed limitations on storage, and outlet inechanisms that are past their
usefid life are problems this project shares frith Terrace Reservoir and Platoro
Reservoir, tirith both of them in the process of seeking CWCB assistance at this trine.
Erosion, river channel braiding, bankfaihires, and deteriorating irrigation structures
are problems cured by a recent (-'W(-'B-funded project by the Romero Irrigation
Company and Gnadahipe Main Ditch Company. Another eras the San Luis Valley
Resource Conservation & Development project on the Alamosa River for the Alamosa
River Watershed Restoration Foundation.
