Wetland Restoration Project. DU is encouraged to resubmit a WSRA grant request for these three projects
for consideration at the March 2009 CWCB meeting.
Issues/Additional Needs:
• As a deliverable, please provide the CWCB with a summary report detailing highlights of the
CWCB funded wetland recharge projects, expected yields, beneficiaries, etc.
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of up to $825,552 from the Statewide Account to help fund the Lower South
Platte Water Protection and Wetland Restoration project (Fender, DT Ranch and the Drake Land Farms
Projects) contingent on resolution of the item in the issues/additional needs section.
All products, data and information developed as a result of this grant must be provided to CWCB in hard
copy and electronic format as part of the project documentation. This information will in turn be made
widely available to Basin Roundtables and the general public and will help promote the development of
a common technical platform. It should be noted that past costs cannot be reimbursed.
