Minutes of Meeting on Apri128, 2008
1. Next Meeting: Monday, May 19, Glenwood Springs Community Recreation Center, 1:00
to 4:00.
a. Review CBRT grant requests.
2. The CWCB meets next in Glenwood Springs on May 20-21.
3. Approve March 2008 meeting minutes. The minutes were approved unanimously.

5. Upcoming meetings: The following public education meetings are scheduled:
a. Grand County on May 6, 2008
b. Sumnut County on May 7, 2008
c. Roaring Fork Valley on May 13, 2008
d. Grand Valley on June 4, 2008 (tentative)
6. Report from other Roundtables -None.
7. Report from Education Subcommittee - Rod Sharp reported that CSU will reimburse up to
$500 for miscellaneous costs such as travel or advertising to conduct public education meetings,
if invoiced before June 15, 2008. The following public education locations are proposed:
a. East Grand County -Kirk Klancke
b. Summit County -Lane Wyatt and Tom Long
c. West Grand County -Tom Clark
d. Grand Valley -Rod Sharp, Greg Trainor, Carlyle Currier, Dale Tooker, Dick Proctor, Kim
Albertson, James Carter, Mel Rettig
e. Eagle County -Caroline Bradford
8. Report from Energy Subcommittee - URS is preparing a report on water demands for Western
Slope energy development. Preliminary reports suggest that 100,000 of will be required for
energy development, and another 50-100,000 of for workers and their families to develop the
energy.
9. Report from Nonconsumptive Needs Assessment Subcommittee -Lane Wyatt reported that
the NCNA subcommittee needs more feedback on river stretches.
10. CWCB Report -The CWCB has returned two grants, the Grand County Stream Flow
Management Plan, and the Roaring Fork Stream Flow Management Plan, that the CBRT
approved in December 2007. The CWCB returned the grants because it believed the grantees
did not permit Denver and the Northern Water Conservancy District to adequately participate in
the grant applications or in administering the grants.
11. Eastern Slope roundtables request to meet with the CBRT and other Western Slope
roundtables. The South Platte and Denver Metro Roundtables have requested a meeting with
