Accordingly, the BLM recommended that 3.0 cfs be appropriated <br />during April 1 to June 15, and that no appropriation be made for the remainder of the year because of limited <br />water availability. <br /> <br />Precipitation Data <br />Staff reviewed local precipitation data sets from one site located around the Cottonwood Creek Drainage (see <br />Precipitation Data in Appendix C). Table 3 shows the water year and the percent of average precipitation <br />recorded for this site. It is staffs opinion that the ten years of stream-flow data analyzed is representative of <br />slightly below average water-years. <br /> <br />- 4- <br />
