Intrastate Water Management & Development Section -Water Supply Reserve Account Grant <br />Application -Goodman Point Phase II Project <br />Tape 5, Track 1 00:17:17 - 00:21:10 <br />Action: CWCB staff recommends that in the event that staff is unable to draft a Goodman Point <br />Phase II Project loan document that would likely make it through the state system, then <br />the Board authorizes staff to provide the full $240,000 for the project in the form of a <br />grant. A motion was made by Don Schwindt and seconded by Carl Trick to approve <br />staff recommendation. The motion was approved unanimously (9-0). <br />27. Stream and Lake Protection Section - Rob Billerbeck of Colorado State Parks gave a presentation <br />on aquatic nuisance species in Colorado and the Colorado Aquatic Nuisance Species Steering <br />Committee's statewide planning efforts to protect the state's waters from these invasive species. <br />He also provided an update on how the state is addressing the discovery of zebra mussels in <br />Pueblo Reservoir. <br />Tape 4, Track 1 00:14:40 - 00:44:50 <br />Action: Informational item only. Nearburg <br />Tape 4, Track 1 O l :20:23 - 01:3 6:45 <br />Action: A motion was made by Carl Trick and seconded by Barbara Biggs to approve staff <br />recommendation that the Board determine that the natural environment of Trout Creek <br />could be preserved to a reasonable degree with the proposed injury if Charles Nearburg <br />provides the proposed mitigation, and authorize staff and the Attorney General's Office <br />to enter into a stipulation with Charles Nearburg implementing the injury with mitigation <br />proposal as approved by the Board that also includes terms and conditions that are fully <br />protective of the Board's instream flow water rights related to the other aspects of this <br />water court application. The motion was approved unanimously (9-0). <br />31.
