The District water Augmentation Program
provides a reliable source of augmentation water that promotes the orderly economic
growth of the service area. The revenue and expenditure projections indicate the
purchase of Weaver's one-third interest of6 cfs in the Pine River Weminuche Pass Ditch
is economically feasible.

5.2 Recommendations
Based on the above described conclusions, it is recommended that the District proceed
with application to the CWCB for a loan in the amount of $720,000. Upon receipt of
assurance that the loan is available and completion of loan documentation, it is
recommended the District purchase Weaver's one-third interest in the Pine River
Weminuche Pass Ditch and proceed with the necessary Water Court application to
integrate the water rights into the District's Augmentation Program.

E01662

17

fA~ SINCE j)),;WJ&
_.~- :.~ 1948 'e""~'I"""'I'~""J'''I'~
~~~:'- is;J'~~':n..~..s:.i~'1~-.w
L~) 7;-~ ~, ~;glnnt:la" h~JC.
