4. d. <br />The High Line Canal Co is a mutual irrigating ditch company. We have 2250 shares held <br />by 234 shareholders, and service 22,500 acres in Pueblo and Otero counties. The canal's <br />main head gates are located south east of Boone, Co on the south bank of the Arkansas <br />river and the canal flows 87 miles south east past Fowler, Manzanola, and Rocky Ford it <br />ends in Dry Creek with is a tributary to Timpas Creek. <br />The High Line Canal Company as a variety of water rights which total 503.6 cfs. <br />December 1861 40cfs <br />Fall 1867 .6 cfs <br />July 1,1869 16 cfs <br />March 7,1884 32.5 cfs <br />June 1885 30 cfs <br />March 11.1886 2 cfs <br />January 6,1890 378 cfs <br />1890 2.5 cfs <br />1891 2 cfs <br />The High Line Canal Co has an average historical diversion of nearly 100,000 acre feet <br />per year. <br />We have previously been involved with a large scale leasing of agriculture water to the <br />City of Aurora, Colorado in 2004, and 2005 which was a great success. We operated the <br />lease under a Temporary Substitute Supply Plan. <br />
