The source of the water is: <br /> <br />North Turkey Creek, tributary to the South Platte <br />River. <br /> <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />an instream flow is claimed. <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the conflu- <br />ence of an unnamed tributary in the SW/4 <br />SE/4, Sec. 25, TsS, R71W, 6th P.M. as the up- <br />stream terminus and extending to the conflu- <br />ence of South Turkey Creek at latitude <br />3903s'42"N and longitude 1050 13'11"W as the <br />downstream terminus, being a distance of <br />approximately 4.6 miles. This segment can be <br />located on the Conifer and Indian Hills <br />U.S.G.S. quadrangles and is depicted on Ex- <br />hibit A. <br /> <br />For the stream segments in an unsurveyed <br />area, the Division Engineer has determined <br />for administrative purposes that theapproxi- <br />mate legal description of the instream flow <br />termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. and/or <br />U.S.F.S. mapping is as follows: upstream <br />terminus in the SW/4, SE/4, Sec. 25, T5S, <br />R71W, 6th P.M. 550 feet North and 2,150 feet <br />West of the Southeast corner; downstream ter- <br />minus in the NW/4, NW/4, Sec. 27, TsS, R70W, <br />6th P.M., 750 feet East and 10 feet South of <br />the Northwest corner. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />November 3, 1994. <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use <br />on November 3, 1994, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under the provision of C.R.S. ~~ 37-92-102(3), <br />37-92-103 (3) , (4) , (10) . <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
