To <br />minimize disrupting the State's production database environment during <br />development work under this contract, the State will provide a computer and SQL <br />Server license; which. will be used for database development and testing (the <br />existing "hbserver" machine at RTi can serve this purpose). <br />Software development will also be compatible with the States development <br />environment, which currently includes Java (Sun Microsystems) and Microsoft <br />tools (Access, Visual :Basic, etc.). All new development will occur Java 1.4.2 (or <br />newer, if justified and agreed upon). The State will purchase and/or pay <br />maintenance on Java tools used for the project, if not freely available or provided <br />by RTi (currently no Java tools require monetary support). <br />• Database loading approach.
