SPDSS Core Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes
October 3, 2005
Page 3
ii) Development of tools has been driven by needs of users. Data used for tools needs to
be clean and compatible, and developing statewide consistent data and models will help
to reduce controversy. Development of generic tools has been difficult because
limitations of tool (such as period of record, missing values, etc) need to be clearly
documented. So it has been easier to develop tool that allows user to select parameters.
iii) Completed tools and information are available for download from CDSS website at
http: / /cdss.state.co.us
iv) There is demand for these tools from ditch companies, water districts, state agencies,
and other consultants
v) The map gazetteer that was developed was aone-time effort and is not available for
download as a complete package; however, the data that were used to generate the maps
are available on the website for download
vi) Hard copies of the Colorado Statewide Satellite Image Mosaic map were available to
attendees
III.
