Tranel,Jeffrey
From: Sharp,Rod
Sent: Wednesday, July 02, 2008 4:10 PM
To: Tranel,Jeffrey
Subject: E-mail from Steve Acquafresca
From: Steve Acquafresca [mailto:Steve.AcquafrescaC~mesacounty.us]
Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2008 2:53 PM
To: Sharp,Rod
Subject: Re: Town Hall Meeting
Thank you, Rod. After last night, my understanding of the Roundtables is about tenfold what it was prior. I knew that
a lot of the Roundtables' time had been devoted to process. But I did not know much else.
It appears that the internal education agenda has been very aggressive. And I see now that the Roundtables are an
effort that has potential to pay dividends in the very long haul. With that in mind, it will be essential that we have
consistency in the membership over time.
The feature that I am impressed with is the rule that when trans-basin diversions are proposed in the future, a donor
basin will have to sign off on the proposal. Russ George deserves even more credit for his resourcefulness.
Thanks, again.
Steve Acquafresca
970-244-1604
