Water Supply Reserve Account -Grant Application Form <br />Foi~n Revised nla~ 2007 <br />Describe how the water activit<- meets these Threshold Criteria. <br />1. The ~yater activity meets the eligibility- requirements outlined in Part 2 of the Criteria and Guidelines. <br />Private (unincorporated) individuals, partnerships, sole proprietors <br />Vermillion Ranch is a private partnership <br />2. The water activity is consistent «ith Section 37-75-102 Colorado Revised Statutes. The <br />requirements/language from the statute is provided ili Part 3 of the Criteria and Guidelines. <br />Yes <br />This geotechnical study will facilitate the feasibility- analysis of a shall reservoir to develop and <br />supply- agricultural and other uses consistent with Colorado Water La~~-. <br />The ~yater activity undel~~-ent an evaluation and approval process and was approved bar the Basin <br />Roundtable (BRT) and the application includes a description of the results of the BRTs evaluation <br />and approval of the activity. At a minimum, the description must include the level of agreement <br />reached b~- the roundtable, including and- lninorit~- opinion(s) if there ryas not general agreement for <br />the activity. The description must also include reasons why general agreement ryas not reached (if it <br />was not), ilicluding ~yho opposed the activity and why- they opposed it. Note- If this infol7nation is <br />included in the letter from the roundtable chair simply reference that letter. <br />hutiall~- submitted for consideration at the April 16, 2008 meeting of the Yampa/White /Green <br />Roundtable <br />Approved May 7"'2008 Yampa/White/Green Round Table <br />See attached Chairman's Letter <br />~. This project ~~-ill assess the prelimiiiai~- feasibilit<r a structural project on Talnnantes creels a <br />tributai~- to the Green River. <br />The Sparks Reservoir could supply water needs for agriculture and <br />it's other decreed uses consistent with: provisions of Section 37-75-104(2), <br />Colorado Revised Statutes <br />Basin Roundtables shall actively seek the input and advice of <br />affected local governments, water providers, and other <br />interested stakeholders and persons in establishing its needs <br />4 <br />
