WATER RIGHTS
The District has ownership of the direct flow rights shown in Table 3 and the storage rights in
Vancil Reservoir shown in Table 5. The Company has ownership of all the storage rights for
Riverside Reservoir, as shown in Table 4.
Direct Flow Rights
The water rights for storage use can be stored in Riverside Reservoir or Vancil Reservoir. The
January 1st, 1876 direct flow right for 22.0 cfs is on the Illinois Ditch, which receives direct flow
water from the Riverside Inlet Canal via the Riverside Ditch. The May 31st, 1907 direct flow
right is used to supplement irrigation supply in the System.
