SYSTEM OVERVIEW <br />The North Sterling Irrigation District (District) is located on the <br />north side of the lower South Platte River near the town of <br />Sterling in Logan County, Colorado. North Sterling Reservoir is <br />an off-channel storage facility located in Water District 64. Water <br />is conveyed to the reservoir for storage through the North Sterling <br />Inlet Canal, which originates in Water District 1. Storage water is <br />released to the North Sterling Outlet Canal for irrigation of lands <br />within the District. <br />North Sterling State Park is located on the east side of the <br />reservoir and is managed by the State as a popular boating area. <br />Key structures identified in the North Sterling Irrigation District <br />are as follows <br />1) North Sterling Inlet Canal <br />2) North Sterling Reservoir <br />These components are owned by the North Sterling Irrigation <br />District: <br />North Sterling Irrigation District <br />112 N 8th Avenue <br />P.O.
