Maximum outlet release of about 30 cfs through an 18-inch outlet pipe <br />Enlargement History: Gold Lake was enlarged (approximately 80 ac-ft) in 1973. <br />Reservoir Storage Measurement: Storage levels in Gold Lake are measured monthly. <br />Seepage: Seepage from Gold Lake is considered high based on observations that the lake may <br />lose 3 feet of depth (approximately 100 ac-ft, equivalent to a 22 percent loss) from the <br />end of the summer until the lake freezes over. <br />HydroBase Data <br />The monthly end-of--month contents data and diversions to storage data available in HydroBase <br />over the 1950-2002 period of record pertaining to the Left Hand Ditch Reservoir System are <br />sporadic and are summarized by reservoir below: <br />• Left Hand Valley Reservoir <br />- End-of--month contents data missing for water years 1950-1957, 1959-1962, 1964- <br />1968, 1971, 1987, and 1991-1992. <br />- Left Hand Valley Reservoir diversions to storage are available over 1975-1999. <br />• Allens Lake <br />- Spring (May) and Fall (October) storage contents over 1950-1969. <br />- Complete record of monthly storage contents for 1970 and 1972. <br />• Left Hand Park Reservoir <br />- End-of--month contents data missing for water years 1951-1953, 1963, 1966, 1972, <br />and 1987. <br />- Left Hand Park Reservoir diversions to storage are available over 1979-1998. <br />• Lake Isabelle <br />- Spring (May) and Fall (October) storage contents over 1950-1969. <br />• Gold Lake <br />- Spring (May) and Fall (October) storage contents over 1950-1969. <br />- Complete record of monthly storage contents over 1970-1972. <br />The Ditch company does not have any of these missing reservoir contents data. <br />WATER RIGHTS <br />The ditch company has ownership in direct flow rights, as summarized in Table 5 and storage <br />rights, as summarized in Table 6. <br />Left Hand Ditch Operating Memorandum.doc 11 of 17 January 5, 2005 <br />
