However, this information should <br />not be relied upon in any legal proceeding. <br />SYSTEM OVERVIEW <br />The City of Greeley is located along the Cache la Poudre River above the confluence with the <br />South Platte River within Water Division 1, Water District 3. The City of Greeley has a varied <br />portfolio of water resources. The City has direct flow and storage rights in the Cache la Poudre <br />and Big Thompson River basins and is a participant in the Colorado Big Thompson (C-BT) and <br />Windy Gap projects, which provide water from the upper Colorado River basin for use within <br />the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District (NCWCD). Historically, Greeley has <br />generally had sufficient water supplies to meet its demands. <br />Key structures identified in the City of Greeley system are as follows: <br />1) Milton Seaman Reservoir <br />2) Barnes Meadow Reservoir <br />3) Greeley's High Mountain Reservoir System <br />• Comanche Reservoir <br />• Hourglass Reservoir <br />• Twin Lake Reservoir <br />• Peterson Lake <br />4) Bellvue Treatment Plant (Greeley Filters Pipeline) <br />5) Boyd Treatment Plant (Boyd Lake and Lake Loveland) <br />6) Canal No. 3 <br />The location of the City of Greeley and major elements of its water resources system is shown in <br />Figure 1. <br />Page 2 of 21 <br />
