North Table Mountain Water and Sanitation District
CWCB Grant Application Attachments
Attachment D
NTM Statement of Organization
Commitment/Capability
North Table Mountain Water and Sanitation District (NTM) has the organizational
commitment to plan and implement effective long-term water savings measures and
programs as follows:
(a) Level of staffing committed to the effort - NTM's Assistant Manager/Engineer
will oversee and manage the Plan development process. Other staff members
who will provide plan input include our District Manager/Engineer and Design
Engineer. In addition, the Project will most likely require input from NTM's
Water Treatment Plant Operator, Billing Database Manager, and administrative
staff. NTM will insure that staff are provided the time necessary to effectively
assist in Plan development.
(b) Capabilities of the staff -See Attachment C: North Table Mountain Water and
Sanitation District Key Staff Qualifications
(c) Level of organizational communication with the public -NTM regularly mails
billing inserts with water conservation information and water use restrictions. In
addition NTM's website has a prominent water conservation link containing
District specific information as well as links to external conservation related
resources. The public will be kept abreast of Water Conservation Plan
development and opportunities for input via billing inserts and notices on NTM's
website. Because NTM is located in unincorporated Jefferson County, there is no
local newspaper or library where postings would necessarily reach its service area
population. Additional information may be provided to home owner associations.
(d) Level of commitment from the , overning board/counsel - NTM's Board of
Directors is committed to water conservation and recognizes the importance of
developing a comprehensive Plan to guide NTM's conservation efforts into the
future. With the potential for significant development in NTM's service area, the
Board understands that a grant from the CWCB provides an opportunity to look
ahead to better manage future demands through conservation. NTM's Board
approved of the funding of this grant application as an important first step in
evaluating and developing conservation measures and programs geared towards
NTM's specific service area and supply system characteristics.
Signed By:
Rick Jeschke, District Engineer and Manager
Date:
