Call Chronology <br />Description with Step by Step Instructions <br />Description: <br />Allows users to view data about active and historical calls placed on rivers, streams, etc. <br />This information shows how water rights are administered. <br />Administrative calls are selected by division/district, and may be further refined using the <br />following criteria: <br />• Call Status (either All or Active) <br />• Date Range <br />• Water Source <br />• Structure Name <br />For the date range option, given the date range (period), a call will be selected if: <br />• It was set during the period <br />• It was released during the period <br />• It spanned the period <br />• It was started before the period but hasn't been released yet <br />Use (How-Tod: <br />1. From the CDSS Home Page, mouse-over °View Data" on the menu bar, then click °Call <br />Chronology". <br />2. Towards the top of the page, there is a drop-down list labeled °Division". Select a division (1 <br />through 7) from the list, or °All -Entire State" (default -for the entire State of Colorado). <br />3. Choose a tab to define your search options. The search tabs are: °Active Calls", °Date Range", <br />°Water Source", and °Structure Name". <br />• Active Calls: No further specification is required for this criteria. A search will be made for <br />all active calls within the selected division. <br />• Date Range: Specify a start and end date to define a range for which calls were active. <br />Dates should be entered in the YYYY-MM-DD format. For the rules of how date ranges are <br />applied, see the °Call Chronology" description. <br />• Water Source: Enter the water source - a string representing a river or stream. The text <br />you enter does not need to be exact or whole -the search string will be searched using <br />wildcards. For example, using °Platte" as a search string will match °South Platte River". <br />You may additionally specify °All Calls" or °Active Calls". <br />• Structure Name: Enter the structure name -the structure that represents the water <br />reach. The text you enter does not need to be exact or whole -the search string will be <br />searched using wildcards. For example, using °Canal" as a search string will match <br />°Richfield Canal". You may additionally specify °All Calls" or °Active Calls". <br />4. Once you have specified your search criteria, click the °Submit Request" button. <br />5. If there are matching results for your search, you will see a results grid in the middle of the <br />page. A maximum of 250 records will be returned. The number of returned records will be <br />displayed below the grid. If that number is 250, you should consider refining your search <br />criteria. You may scroll through the list to view the results; you may also choose to display or <br />export the results in another format (step 6). <br />6. Once you have a results grid, the contents of that grid may be exported to any of the formats <br />listed in the drop-down list in the °Output Format" box: °Adobe Acrobat", °HTML Web Format", <br />°MS Excel", °Comma Delimited File (CSV)", or °Tab Delimited File". Choose the format you <br />prefer and click the °Generate Report" button. <br />7. Follow the ensuing instructions from your web browser to either open the report on your screen <br />or save it to your computer. <br />
