APPENDIX A
The major well augmentation plans operated in the SPDSS Study Area generally follow the
pattern of operations presented above. Specifics of the major plans, including operations not
characterized in the general operations above were gathered based on review of Water Court
decrees and applications, and discussions with Water Division 1 personnel and ditch company
representatives.
Discussions of 25 major plans listed in Table 3 follow, including sections on demands (well
pumping and depletions), supplies (recharge sites, augmentation and recharge wells, changed
ditch shares, storage, etc.), and operations for use in representing well augmentation plans in a
baseline scenario for the SPDSS Water Resources Planning Model. Also included is discussion
of how the information from DWR personnel, water users, and the decrees reviewed for the 12
largest plans, compares to the information currently associated with the plans in HydroBase
(Version 20060816).
Note Appendices A-1 through A-12 provide more detail than Appendices A-13 through A-25
regarding the plan operations since the decrees for the plans in A-1 through A-12 were reviewed
for this effort. These augmentation plans warranted this extended review since the 12 major
plans, in total, account for 85 percent of well acreage in the basin associated with augmentation
plans in HydroBase.
(Click on the titles listed below while holding the CTRL button to jump to the specific appendix)
APPENDIX A-1 Central Colorado Water Conservancy District -Ground Water Management Subdistrict
Augmentation Plan -Plan IDs 0103334, 0203334, 0303334, 0403334 & 0503334
APPENDIX A-2 Central Colorado Water Conservancy District -Well Augmentation Subdistrict Plan -
Plan IDs 0103394, 0203394, 0303394, and 0403394
APPENDIX A-3 Logan Well Users Augmentation Plan System -Plan ID 6402539
APPENDIX A-4 Bijou Canal Augmentation Plan -Plan ID 0103339
APPENDIX A-5 Cache la Poudre Water Users Augmentation Plan -Plan IDs 0103336, 0203336 & 0303336
APPENDIX A-6 Lower Logan Well Users Augmentation Plan -Plan ID 6402536
APPENDIX A-7 Lower Platte & Beaver Canal Augmentation Plan -Plan ID 0102535
APPENDIX A-8 Sedgwick County Well Users Augmentation Plan -Plan ID 6402517
APPENDIX A-9 Upper Platte & Beaver Canal Augmentation Plan -Plan ID 0102529
APPENDIX A-10 Fort Morgan Canal Augmentation Plan -Plan ID 0102528
APPENDIX A-11 Lower Latham Reservoir Company Augmentation Plan -Plan ID 0103332
APPENDIX A-12 Riverside Canal Augmentation Plan System -Plan ID 0102522
A-1 ofA-106
