Hojvever, the East Fork <br />is a 303-c1 listed river, alxl is basically <br />dead. <br />1\Iancos Riyer tlojv is clominatecl by <br />precipitation falling on higher ele~~ations <br />in the northeast portion of the tyatershecl, <br />in the San Juan National Forest. The East, <br />1\Iiclcile, anti ~~'est branches of the 1\Iancos <br />IZiyer anti Clliclcen Creek drain these <br />higher precipitation areas. Mud Creel: <br />drains the loj`-er elegy ations in the <br />lu)rtlnti-est. The lover valley is cliviclecl by <br />~~'eber anti I\Ieuefee I~Iolultains, bet~yeen <br />~vllicll the ~~-eber Drainage tlojti-s, as a result of irrigation overtlo~v. The colltluellce of the I~Iallcos Rig=zr <br />ulcl ~~'eber drainage nlarl:s the loz`-er end. of the Valley. Inunecliately belo~y the -alley is the border jyith <br />Mesa ~'ercle National Parr, and four miles clo«-llstream is the I_ite l~IOUntain Litz Resel~-atioll. Silt< <br />set-en miles of river nul tluough the resel~ ation. The last mile or so of the river null tlu-ough the Nair°ajo <br />ration, tyhere it meets the San Juan Riyer. <br />
