?
Ability to replace time series from the CRDSS database with StateMod time series input files
in cases where the data in the database needs to be overruled for some reason (e.g.,
inaccurate, requires manual edits, or data does not exist in the database)
?
Many options to allow the user to control calculation of efficiencies used in StateMod
modeling
?
Report files generated to verify the results of processing demands and crop data
?
Increased interaction with the StateMod model via the demsrc flag allowing stricter checking
of structure type versus available data and handling of multiple structures that feed the same
irrigated parcel
?
Extensive debugging, status, and warning messages and implementation of a log file as well
as implementation of output file headers to help track data flow through CRDSS
?
Option to allow the structure capacity to be reset to the largest historical flow
?
Option to create the crop pattern file for the consumptive use model
?
Option to use a commands file to read command-line options
?
Options to fill historical diversions in several different ways to account for historical data
availability
Subtask 3. Design and implement an improved watright DMI utility program.
watright
The DMI utility has been implemented and contains functionality to process the model network
and water rights. The utility is documented in the CRDSS Users? Manual. The utility creates a header
file to the QINFO report, water rights net amount, water rights transaction, and cumulative net amount
reports, and also generates StateMod input files.
watright
Additional functionalities not specifically addressed in the scope, but of interest are:
?
makenet
Implementation of the utility, documented in the CRDSS Users? Manual, to help
prepare the river network file for StateMod, making network edits much easier
?
demandts
Implementation of the log file, file header, and commands file options similar to
?
Option to edit diversion structure information to override values coming out of the database
?
Option to supply return flow information via an input file
?
Ability to ignore structures when determining key structures list
Subtask 4. Design and implement an improved netresev DMI utility
.
netresev
The DMI functionality has been implemented in a utility program to generate StateMod net
tstool
evaporation files. However, the user must supply weights. can also be used to output net
evaporation time series in StateMod format.
2
a320/taskmems/ 2-06-01.doc 01/03/97
