Additional Weather Station Data for Penman-Monteith and/or Blaney-Criddle
Maximum temperature per day (deg F)
?

Minimum temperature per day (deg F)
?

Vapor pressure per day (kpa)
?

Solar radiation per day (lang)
?
Wind speed per day (mi/hr)
?

Precipitation measure per day (in)
?
The data structure used to return data will most likely be determined by the most appropriate method of
querying the database. It is only necessary that all of the requested data be returned in some format that
can be easily converted to the required output. Where daily values are not available, or if an entire data
type is not available at a station, the null indicator passed in will be used instead--even if it fills in one or
more entire data series for a station.
3.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The cuclimat DMI uses a control file to define area and time period parameters for model data. The
parameters are placed in a data structure and passed to a low-level DMI. The low-level DMI queries the
database and returns requested data to the cuclimat DMI. Data are written to formatted data files used as
input for the CU model.
5
A275 01.09.95 1.14-11 CSU IDS
