6.0 Comments and Concerns <br />Incidental losses include losses associated with agricultural development such as vegetation along <br />canals, ditches, laterals, drains, and "tail water" areas. Vegetation along conveyance systems in the <br />Rio Grande is generally sparse, without the phreatophytes seen in areas with a relatively constant <br />water table or more precipitation.
