The NCWCD
stations located in the SPDSS study area and their respective periods of record are listed in
Appendix B.
NCWCD climate stations typically record temperature, dew point, precipitation, wind speed, and
solar radiation. Calculated ET and calculated pan evaporation for the current year are also
provided. The following procedure was followed to download the climate data:
1. Go online to www.ncwcd.or~
2. Click on the "Weather/ET Info" link (Figure 6)
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and select the first station to download, Boulder.
4. Ensure that only the "Daily Weather Summary" check boxes are checked in the Report
section.
5. Submit the data query using the "Get Report Data" button (Figure 7)
6. Links to the results will be displayed at the top of the page after the page has refreshed.
Results have to be collected one year at a time. Clicking each result link will display a
tab-delimited file in a new window, which can then be copied into a text editor, Microsoft
Excel, or saved as a text file by clicking "Save As" from the File menu, specifying a file
Task 53 1.doc 6 of 14 December 21, 2004
(Rev January 25, 2006)
