Additional cross sections were made in <br />the vicinity of bridges to determine the backwater effect of these <br />structures. Cross sections for the Colorado River, Leach Creek, and <br />Horizon Dtive Channel were developed from topographic ma~s provided <br />, <br />by the U'9' Bureau of Reclamation at a scale of 1:2400, with a con- <br />tour interval of 2 feet (Reference 12). Cross sections for West <br />Creek wer~ obtained by field survey.
