<br />5.4 Flood Insurance Rate Map Description <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />The Flood Insurance Rate Map for the Town of: Frisco is, for insurance <br />purposes, the principal result of the Flood Insurance Study. This <br />map (published separately) contains the official delineation of <br />flood insurance zones and base flood elevation lines. Base flood <br />elevation lines show the locations of the expected whole-foot <br />water-surface elevations of the base (lOO-year) flood. This map <br />is developed in accordance with the latest flood insurance map <br />preparation guidelines published by the Federal Insurance Administra- <br />tion. <br /> <br />g <br /> <br />6.0 OTHER STUDIES <br /> <br />A drainage study for Meadow Creek subdivision prepared by Donald Souther- <br />land Associates, Inc., was the only study found t:o exist at the time of <br />this report (Reference 13). The drainage study is in general agreement <br />with this Flood Insurance Study. <br /> <br />A Flood Hazard Boundary Map for Frisco was published in 1976 (Reference 11). <br />Boundary corrections have been made in this study for Jug Creek from <br />the above-mentioned drainage study for Meadow Creek subdivision. All <br />other boundaries on the Flood Hazard Boundary Map are in general agree- <br />ment with the Flood Insurance Rate Map.
