C.R.S. 1998. The Town of Basalt Finance Department provides financial oversight services <br />to RWAPA. RWAPA was formed in 1981 in accordance with then-current Colorado Statutes and its current <br />Board consists of elected officials from three counties (Eagle, Pitl~in, Garfield) and five municipalities <br />(Aspen, Town of Snowmass Village, Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs) in the Roaring Fork Valley. <br />RWAPA has an annual budget of approximately $30,000 which is funded by member contributions. Special <br />project funding is provided by grants or special member assessments. RWAPA is staffed by one part-time <br />director and contracts with consultants for special projects. <br />
