Meeting participants invited include local, state, and federal officials and <br />private sector experts although anyone can attend. The FTF meets during flood season (April Rod Kuharich <br />through September) to coordinate flood related activities, monitor extreme weather and share CWCB Director <br />assistance opportunities. The meeting included weather forecasts; flood outlooks, and new Dan McAuliffe <br />developments in local, state, and federal agency programs. The Flood Task Force meeting Deputy Director <br />minutes and presentations reside on the CWCB website located at htto://cwcb.state.co.us/flood watch/index.html. <br />This time there were presentations from the NRCS, HDR Engineering, Division of Water Resources (DWR), and <br />the USBR presented the Enhanced Snowpack Assessment Project using the SNODAS model. In response to these conditions, the CWCB Flood Protection Program has <br />been issuing flood reports and snowpack maps for three major basins and portions of other basins that are <br />considered to be at risk for snowmelt flooding.
