Barbara C. Welles, Director <br />of the Weather Modification Program, initiated and supervised the <br />study. Colorado Counties, Inc., assisted in contacting county <br />corranissioners and road maintenance foremen. Members of the Project <br />Review Corranittee, chaired by the Program Director, were C. W. Brennan, <br />Past President, Colorado Highway Corranission; Dr. Archie M. Kahan, <br />certified consulting meteorologist; Dr. William Loehr, economic <br />consultant; Dr. Patrick Squires, Director, Convective Storms Division, <br />National Center for Atmospheric Research; Richard L. Eddy, <br />meteorologist, and Edward R. Harris, envirorunental officer, Division of <br />Atmospheric Resources Research, Bureau of Reclamation; and Lynn A. <br />Sherretz, Research Coordinator, Colorado Weather Modification Program. <br />Edward R.
