. by the Weather Modification Program, Executive Director I s Office,
Colorado Departplent of Natural Resources. Barbara C. Welles, Director
of the Weather Modification Program, initiated and supervised the
study. Colorado Counties, Inc., assisted in contacting county
corranissioners and road maintenance foremen. Members of the Project
Review Corranittee, chaired by the Program Director, were C. W. Brennan,
Past President, Colorado Highway Corranission; Dr. Archie M. Kahan,
certified consulting meteorologist; Dr. William Loehr, economic
consultant; Dr. Patrick Squires, Director, Convective Storms Division,
National Center for Atmospheric Research; Richard L. Eddy,
meteorologist, and Edward R. Harris, envirorunental officer, Division of
Atmospheric Resources Research, Bureau of Reclamation; and Lynn A.
Sherretz, Research Coordinator, Colorado Weather Modification Program.
