Information developed in SCPP to date is already being ap-
plied to planned or existing seeding programs in both Cali-
fornia and Nevada.

Acknowledgments. Preparation of this paper was supported by the
Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation. The authors wish
to acknowledge the contributions to SCPP of Dr. Bernard A. Sil-
verman, Dr. Larry Vardiman, and the late Mr. Olin H. Foehner.
They also acknowledge the contributions to the project made by
many other scientists, pilots, technicians, and other personnel both
within and outside the Bureau of Reclamation. Appreciation goes to
Mrs. Bernie Culver for typing the manuscript and to personnel of the
Bureau's Mid-Pacific Region for drafting the figures.
