In figure 6, the number of seedable cloud <br />systems present at standard rawinsonde ascent times (0000 and 1200 <br />GMT) are plotted so that station intercomparisons can be made. The <br />significant points are that: <br /> <br />QI <br /> <br />1. A high frequency of occurrence of seedable upslope systems <br />exists in the northern High Plains. <br /> <br />2. An axis exists from Topeka, Kansas, to Denver, Colorado, <br /> <br />along which a secondary maximum is found. <br /> <br />10 <br />
