Two rawinsondes were examined for Goodland, <br />Kansas, on August 19, 1977, one observed at 1200 G.m. t. (figures 4.1 and 4.3), the other at 1800 G.m. t. <br />(figures 4.2 and 4.4). Note the difference in model response to lifting using the same lifting pro- <br />file with two different raobs. <br />
