December 17, 2007 <br />The CBRT Non-Consumptive Needs Assessment committee held a meeting that discussed the <br />timetable of the Non-Consumptive Needs Assessment data would be collected (18 months), and <br />a discussion of the data collection techiuques to quantify minimum flows required to maintain <br />healthy river ecosystems. <br />2. The CBRT approved grants totaling $300,000 from the CBRT Basin Account and $127,900 from <br />the Statewide Account. To date, $415,000 has been allocated from the CBRT Basin Account out <br />of $1 million total available over 6 years. The grants approved include: <br />Proposal CBRT $ CWCB $ <br />Grand County Phase 2 Stream Flow Mgmt Plan 100,000 <br />Roaring Fork Watershed Study Phase 2 40,000 <br />Old Dillon Reservoir Eiilargement 100,000 <br />Fraser River Berthoud Pass sand collection facility 60,000 127,900 <br />Total $300,000 $127,900 <br />Jim Broderick, Executive Director of the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District, <br />Pitlcin County Commissioner Rachel Richards, and Aspen City Engineer Phil Overeynder <br />discussed the PSOP, or Preferred Storage Option Plan, for increased storage alternatives in the <br />Fryingpan-Arkansas basin.
