<br />IV. Consultation and Coordination <br /> <br />Offices contacted during preparation of this environmental assessment <br />include the Forest Service District Office in Grand Junction, and the <br />U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Salt Lake City and Colorado Division <br />of Wildlife in Denver for listings of threatened and endangered <br />species. The Weather Modification office of the Colorado Department of <br />Natural Resources provided information and assistance related to State <br />and public involvement, and would continue to aid the Bureau on public <br />concerns. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Special permits required for conducting this program include special use <br />permits from the Forest Service for such installations as weather data <br />collection platforms, radiometer, and other equipment. Arrangements <br />with private landowners for installation and use of equipment would be <br />obtained by the Bureau if needed. The contractor performing the seeding <br />activities would be required to have a license from the State of <br />Co 1 orado and woul d be requi r'ed to obtai n the necessary permit from the <br />Department of Natural Resources under State statute. <br /> <br />Review of Environmental Assessment <br /> <br />This Environmental Assessment is being distributed for review to all <br />agencies, organizations, and individuals who may have an interest in the <br />program or who request a copy of the document. A copy of the mailing <br />list as of the date of printing of the document is enclosed, beginning <br />on the following page.
