They plan to construct an additional transmission line that will <br />co'n,nect to North, Weld COllntyWater District, and they participate in the Northern Integrated Supply <br />Project, both which will bring addition water to 'meet growing demands. Th,e Town recognizes t]le <br />im'portance of water conservation and plans to qu.antify its current water usage, develop water <br />conservation programs and measures to implenlel1t, and determille the bellefit-cost of the <br />im,plementation with the grant monies for water co,nservation plal1ning. The TOWIl lIas set a goal of <br />redllcing its overall per-capita water use, over the next tell years, by 17.8%. Tllis \vould reduce per- <br />capita water use from 140gpcd to 1 15gpcd. According to Statewide Sllpply Il1itiative, Willdsor has a <br />22% identified gap between water Sllpplies and water needs by 2025, therefore, implementation of a <br />Water Conservation Plan is necessary since it can act as all additional water source and will prolong <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
