<br />..._b ,.".. <br /> <br />The subsequent evaluation of the experiment will test the main <br />hypothesis of the program in addition to describing the physical parameters, <br />accompanying successful snowpack augmentation events. ..:Nonparame~ <br />~tistic~ techniques will be applied to the randomized seed/non- seeded <br />records to conclude whether the hypothesis- -that seeding in the prescribed <br />manner will augment natural snowpack- -is true and supported by theexperi- <br />mental data. Physical phenomena which have been found important in <br />previous programs and are postulated as important in the pres ent program <br />will be collated with seeding and precipitation records to indicate their effect <br />on seedability. These parameters include: cloud top height and temperature, <br />wind speed and direction, liquid water content, mixing ratio and atmospheric <br />sta bility . <br /> <br />6 <br />
