<br />SUMMARY
<br />
<br />Model runs were made with a LSPM, at 5- and 10-km resolutions,
<br />initializing with local soundings and with RSM (NCAR MM4 model)
<br />generated soundings, for the Gunnison watershed of western Colorado.
<br />The LSPM is two-dimensional, steady-state, and only requires atmospheric
<br />vertical profiles of temperature, humidity, and winds as input.
<br />Precipitation modeling capability was assessed by comparisons of the
