Tempera-
ture data from the 7 daily climatological stations is also included in Appendix
D.

Teletype se:rvices A and C and the U. S. Weather Bureau FAX charts
provided synoptic data for analysis throughout the period of interest.

Radar PPI photos were made during each storm, although the radar
was used primarily for wind tracking purposes. Operation of the surplus ra-
winsonde equipment wa~ not satisfactory, and we were forced to fall back on
the use of U. S. Weather Bureau data from Grand Junction, Denver, Lander,
and Salt Lake City.

HYDROLOGICAL DAT A

Ridge station snowcourse runs began on 19 November 1965 and contin-
ued through 1 May 1966. The ridge thaw began in mid-April and values be-
yond these dates have not been used for analysis purposes.

Stream gauge data are available from the three newly-installed stream

gauge s for all of the spring run-off period.
