Section I out-
lines the program, its goals, and depth. The next four sections summarize
one completed project, two projects now in progress, and one project in
preliminary planning. Section VI is a synopsis of contracts devoted to
orographic research in general. Equipment developed in support of general
atmospheric research, and not in connection with a particular project, is
described in section VII. Sections II through VII contain synopses of
pertinent contracts following the main summaries. Contracts are listed in
chronological order of award, and the contract reporting period is from the
beginning of fiscal year 1975 (July 1, 1974) through the contract's comple-
tion date. Contracts shown as "continuinq" extend into future fiscal
year(s) but are not open-ended. Section VIII describes Project Skywater
in-house support and research activities. The appendixes contain a
glossary of pertinent terms and, listings of contract and in-house reports
which are available upon request-to the Bureau of Reclamation or the
National Technical Information Service.

17, KEY WORDS AND DOCUMENT ANALYSIS
a.
