Short-amplitude low pressure waves move from <br />the northwest around the closed ci rcu1ation, pa ssi ng th rough Ari zona, 1 eadi ng <br />to a 1-2 day intermittent precipitation eVE!nt. Near the surface, high <br />pressure moves southeastward from western Canada pushing a cold front south- <br />ward tCFfiard southern Arizona.
