In 2006. the <br />SDWRF loaned $64.3 million to governmental water systems in Colorado (or those sponsored by <br />local governments), The amount loaned each year has varied widely since 1997. from a low of <br />$792.000 in 2004 to a high 01'$64.3 million in 2006 (State of Colorado. 2007), <br /> <br />Interest rales depend on the source of money, Those sources include loans leveraged with bonds. <br />direct loans using federal and state funds. and loans using only state funds.
