Law, Executive Director <br />RE: Director's Report <br />Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund <br />For 2008, the following projects are expect~~d to .receive funding from the Authority: Sheridan PID, <br />Pagosa Springs LID, City of Las Animas, Tovvn of Crowley, Triview Metro District, Town of Manzanola, <br />Fairplay Sanitation District, Larimer County LID, Penrose Sanitation District, Mountain View Villages <br />WSD, Town of Elizabeth and Town of New Castle. Other loans expected in the fall include the Cities of <br />Brush and Fruita and the Town of Carbondale. <br />The WPCIZF loan capacity is estimated at $64 million for 2008, and it is expected that $50 to $60 million <br />of this capacity will be utilized. <br />Drinking Water Revolving Fund <br />For 2008, the following projects are expected to receive funding from the Authority: East Alamosa <br />WSD, Town of Hotchkiss, Town of Eckley, City of Las Animas, Town of Kim, Town of La Veta, City of <br />Craig, Town of Arriba, Platte Canyon SID, Pagosa Area WSD and the Town of Estes Park. Project 7 <br />Water Authority is expected for fall funding. <br />The 2008 DWRF loan capacity is estimated at $87 million, and it is anticipated that $20 to $30 million of <br />this capacity will be utilized. <br />Small Water Resources Proiects and Water Revenue Bonds <br />In 2007 no loans were executed under these pr~~grams. No applications are pending. <br />For 2008 t1~e Board has budgeted $] million for cost of issuance subsidies in connection with these two <br />programs. Priority for this subsidy will be given to wastewater projects not receiving WPCRF funding, if <br />any. <br />Animas - La Plata Proiiect / La Plata River 1.?uture Proiects Escrow <br />Funding for the Animas-La Plata Project in 2008 is $60.8 million. Over the last two years, the sponsors <br />have been working on an intergovernmental agreement to create anon-profit organization to take over the <br />operation of the project. The agreement will be; submitted to the various governing boards in the next few <br />weeks for review and approval. <br />
