<br />On December 11. 2001 the Board
<br />of Directors voted unanimously to
<br />approve the budget for the
<br />upcoming year. The Board also
<br />approvt:d an amended budgel for
<br />FY 200 I lor the Water Activity
<br />Enterprise IEnh:rprisc).
<br />The 2002 District budgct lists
<br />59.541.611 In revenues and
<br />S9,00I,<)2(1 in expected
<br />cxpl'nditurcs. The jlropcrty Tax mill
<br />levies were set al .R~ for the
<br />contmcl rcpayml.'nl. .()38 ji)T the
<br />operating mill levy and .013 for the
<br />abatements & refunds. These will
<br />generate $4,4-42.532 for contract
<br />
<br />repayment, 5209,970 for operating
<br />revenues. and $71.832 in ahatement
<br />& refund revenue. Overall these
<br />represent 11 nine percent increase-in
<br />property lax collections.
<br />The Fountain Valley Conduit
<br />payment increases to S3.05R.244 in
<br />2002. This will hl.." ;) passthrough
<br />from the Fountain Valley Authority
<br />to the U.S. Bureau of Rt.'Clamation
<br />(Reclamation).
<br />With the water reserves III the
<br />dams down this year, we are
<br />e:>;.pecting lower water sales. This.
<br />combined with the mill levy
<br />collection, will result in only a
<br />

<br />Reclamation. individual landholders,
<br />and ollicials from various ditch
<br />companies to oblain the necessary
<br />information and complete Ihe
<br />required fonns. As required by
<br />federal law these fomls arc kept on
<br />file at thl.' District oOice.
