Stream and Lake Protection Section - 2008 Instream Flow Appropriations
Summary
This memo identifies 19 instream flow water rights that were appropriated by the Board at its
January 23, 2008 meeting and provides an opportunity for additional public comment per ISF
Rule 5 e.
No Board action is required.
Background
Public comment will be taken on the following instream flow water right appropriations being
considered by the Board. The Board noticed these proposed appropriations in March and
November 2007 and declared its intent to appropriate at its January 23, 2008 meeting. The
attached tables outline additional information on each appropriation. Detailed information
regarding these stream segments is also available on the CWCB website located at

Anyone wishing to contest one or more of these appropriations must file a Notice to Contest with
the Board, pursuant to ISF Rule Sk, by March 31, 2008, or the first business day thereafter.
Staff will ask the Board to take final action on all uncontested ISF appropriations at its May 2008
meeting.
