Applications will be prioritized and recommended to the Board by <br />the CWCB staff, following statutory guidelines, based on the types <br />of projects in the followin o~ rder: <br />1. Development ofcompact-entitled waters <br />2. Dam rehabilitation <br />3. Infrastructure construction or rehabilitation <br />4. Water conservation/efficiency_projects <br />5. Floodplain mana eg ment projects <br />The applications will then be further prioritized based on the type <br />of pro'e..t ct applicants in the followin og rder: <br />1. Agricultural <br />2. Water District <br />3. Municipality ' <br />4. Commercial/industrial water users <br />Staff will review the investment/loan application for compliance <br />with the above criteria and, in their professional opinion, <br />likelihood of successful project development. Applications will be <br />referred to the Board for consideration at the November Board <br />meeting following the application.. submittal. <br /> <br />NOTE: Reco ng izing that future needs and responses to those needs cannot <br />be predicted with certainty, the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board reserves the right to recommend for funding any project, <br />program or study that it determines worthy of rg ant funding. <br />• <br />
