1 commission, and the director of the division of wildlife, has prepared and <br />2 delivered to the general assembly a species conservation eligibility list <br />3 describing programs and associated costs that are eligible to receive <br />4 funding from the species conservation trust fund; and <br />5 (c) Section 24-33-111 (3), Colorado Revised Statutes, prior to <br />6 obligating funds from the species conservation trust fund, the species <br />7 conservation eligibility list is subject to modification and adoption <br />8 through the passage of a bill. <br />9 SECTION 2. Eligibility list -approval. (1) The general <br />10 assembly deems the recommended expenditures described in the species <br />11 conservation eligibility list to be in the interest of the people of the state. <br />12 The moneys specified in this subsection (1) shall be available in fiscal <br />13 year 2008-09 and shall remain available for the designated purposes until <br /> 14 they are fully expended: <br /> 15 (a) The executive director of the department of natural resources <br /> 16 is authorized to obligate and expend seven million five hundred <br /> 17 eighty-five thousand dollars ($7,585,000) from the capital account of the <br /> 18 species conservation trust fund for the following activities, programs, and <br /> 19 species in the following amounts: <br /> 20 PROGRAM /SPECIES AMOUNT <br /> 21 Platte River Recovery Program $ 7,585,000 <br /> 22 Total capital account appropriation: $ 7,585,000 <br /> 23 (b) The executive director of the department of natural resources <br /> 24 is authorized to obligate and expend three million five hundred <br /> 25 seventy-eight thousand eight hundred eighty-six dollars ($3,578,886) <br /> 26 from the operation and maintenance account of the species conservation <br /> 27 trust fund for the following activities, programs, and species in the <br /> <br />-3- :168 <br />
