Application Summary
This is an application for a change of water rights in Moffat County, approximately 12 miles
southeast of Craig. The Applicant seeks two alternate points of diversion for Deakins Field
Sprinkler #1 (Alternate Point # 1 and Alternate Point #2). Both alternate points are upstream of
the existing Deakins Field Sprinkler point of diversion. The Deakins Field Sprinkler water right
is decreed for 1 cfs with an appropriation date of June 15, 1993 for irrigation of 25 acres. The
Applicant also seeks an alternate point of diversion for the Haggerty #2 Ditch. The original point
of diversion is on Peck Gulch; the alternate point is on the Williams Fork River (upstream). The
Haggerty #2 Ditch is decreed for 3 cfs with an appropriation date of August 10, 1967 for
irrigation of 100 acres.
